Type No.1 – Permanent overband magnet
Which designed for working 8-10 year with permanent magnet power to capture the ferrous metal or iron particles from the conveyed materials. So just provide low power to drive the motor, then it will continuous work and definitely will bring good performance. It can be used in a toughest environment. And its the first choice for different waste recycling plant, besides we also use permanent overband magnet to mining industry to remove the iron contamination to protect the crusher. Normally, the permanent overband magnet are very popular as its advantage of the cheaper manufacture cost.
Type No.2 – Electro overband magnet
The magnet power come from the Electromagnet, Which designed for working 8-10 year to capture the ferrous metal or iron particles from different materials. As its easy control and high power compared to permanent magnet. So Many waste recycling plant also like to use Electro overband magnet to deal with the ferrous metal from the material stream. If it’s hard to get the permanent magnet, then the Electro overband magnet is the best choice. And if some place the electricity is cheaper, then Electro overband magnet is also cost competitive.
