Overband magnet always used in the aggregate industry. The model choose are per the bottom conveyor width. Normally, the conveyor belt width can be 800mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, and 1400mm. There are two suspension type for the overband magnet.

1)first type is cross type, the overband magnet hanging over the conveyor and then material transfer by the conveyor, the iron particles will be captured by the high power magnet property.

2)second type is inline type, the overband magnet hanging in the same direction of conveyor transportation. So when material go though the magnet area, the iron particles will be sucked as it is magnetic material. And the magnet will drop the iron material to another same direction conveyor. the non magnetic material will fall off the conveyor directly.

Every year we sold out more than 1000 units overband magnets for different application. However the sand and aggregate industry are the main applications of magnet using.
